You might have made the decision to run away from where you live, or maybe you’ve been kicked out of home. Either way, not having anywhere to go can be a lonely feeling. Being out on the streets is scary and you might be feeling panicky about where you’re going to stay tonight.
Maybe you’ve been walking round for hours, trying to decide what to do and where to go. Everyone deserves to have a place they can go to where they feel safe. At Runaway Helpline we want to help you find that safe place. We will listen to you and help you talk through your options.
There may be times when your options are limited, but we can help you figure out the best one for you. You might decide what’s best is to talk to social services, a local young person’s project, the police or a family member about a safe place to go, or you might need to find out what your options are and think about things for a while. You can always call us back.
The Runaway Helpline can only provide services to children and young people within the United Kingdom, and information and advice on this site relates to the UK only.
