If you have doubts then it is probably best that you don’t go or you call someone you trust and talk it through first.
The fact that you are unsure is enough to say that there may be something unsafe going on. There are alternatives that might suit you better and these will depend largely on your age and what’s going on in your life at the moment, but if you can’t stay at home then social services could well be worth a call. They have access to what they call ’emergency housing’ which would hopefully be able to help you to somewhere safe for the short time while they assess your situation.
If you call Runaway Helpline for free on 116 000, we can do a Three Way Call with you and social services, and if you like, we can be on the line to support you when you call to ask for advice and options that are available to you.
The Runaway Helpline can only provide services to children and young people within the United Kingdom, and information and advice on this site relates to the UK only.
