Suicidal thoughts

Having suicidal thoughts means that you are thinking about killing yourself. People often start to feel suicidal when they are experiencing times of depression or really tough things are happening in their lives that make staying alive and having to face everything seem too difficult.

If you are having these kinds of feelings, it’s important that you talk to someone about it. Suicide is a permanent choice, it can’t be undone, whereas the problems you are having can maybe be helped and you could get help to feel better or recover if you are suffering with depression.

If you need help in getting through what you’re dealing with, you are not alone. There is a range of helplines, charities and websites that are dedicated to helping people in need.
